Those behind Fearless Productions are young, but that hasn’t stopped them from dreaming big. Their project, called Equation, is a sci-fi film with a Christian Gospel message. And they’re aiming directly at Hollywood. In a parallel reality, humanity is marked, literally. It’s a plot that at first seems reminiscent of other Evangelical end-times thrillers where everybody has a mark, but it’s really quite different. Marcus Gervelle’s number is increasing, governed by the equation.

The director of Equation is 17-year-old Stephen Byrum from Post Falls, Idaho and the writer is Christopher Paul, of a similar age. Byrum has already garnered a foothold in the independent film industry with successful short movies like The Victor and Venia, while Assistant Director Ryan Anstett has already made waves with various commercial projects in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas. The film is being edited by Micky Fritzsche of Sandpoint, Idaho, and the music is being composed by 16-year-old Thomas Pryde from Southern Michigan.

If you’re interested in helping with Equation, Fearless Productions is requesting donations on their website. They’re also making announcements at area churches, so you may see them soon. You can even help simply by liking them on Facebook. Then watch for its release late this year or early next year.
