New dean to serve St. John’s Cathedral

A search committee from the church has been seeking a replacement for Dean Bill Ellis, who retired last June. The committee recently announced that the Rev. Heather VanDeventer has been selected as that replacement.

St. John’s Spring choral concert celebrates Vaughan Williams & Bach

On Saturday at 7:30pm, the Cathedral Choir of St John the Evangelist, Cathedral Kantorei Choir, the Cathedral Collegium Orchestra and organist, John Bodinger under the direction of Tim Westerhaus will present Bach's Easter Oratorio, "Kommt eilet und laufet" and Ralph Vaughan Williams’ "Five Mystical Songs."
