What is mindfulness? As I continue to explore this question for myself I’ve unearthed a few beautiful seeds that have been sown for generations, infused with spiritual significance and nurtured in the rich soil of the mind, of awareness and consciousness.
Given that our minds tend to focus on the past or on the future, mindfulness helps us learn to be in the here and now. Sometimes mindfulness can be better understood in terms of what it is not, which helped me “get it” better.
The single most important spiritual lesson I learned was that of mindfulness, of others opinions, rights, and the knowing that they are exactly where their life has brought them.
