Franklin Graham, the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham and an increasingly outspoken figure among social conservatives, played a role in negotiations with the last four rightwing protesters at federal wildlife refuge in Oregon that finally ended their holdout.
Franklin Graham’s annual compensation of $880,000, revealed in a Charlotte Observer story, has some worrying that too many top Christian nonprofit leaders as well as pastors are seeing themselves as CEOs instead of as God’s servants.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax TV last week, Rev. Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, said the country is in the economic shape it is in because, "we have turned our backs on God."
“The more we turn our backs on God, the bigger our problem becomes,” he said.
