How about let’s not talk politics in this wrap-up? A lot is happening around town that’s not related to the election. But if you’re really hungry for it, check out Pastor Bill Farley’s blog.

On Saturday the Mind, Body, Spirit Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Unity Church of Spokane. The event is hosted by the Holistic Chamber of Commerce and will feature more than 40 exhibits.

Also tomorrow The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist will have its holiday bazaar from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Wednesday (Nov. 14) the Catholic Diocese of Spokane will host “Theology on Tap” at St. Peter Parish. Sr. Mary Ann Farley, from the Sisters of the Holy Names, will discuss “The Future of Women Religious in the U.S.” Dinner’s at 6, the discussion starts at 7. To RSVP call (509) 995-1295.

And later this month, as part of its 125th anniversary celebration, the Jundt Art Museum at Gonzaga will feature an exhibit of prints, curated from its collection, titled “A Lyrical Line: Rembrandt and Others” in the Arcade Gallery from Nov. 30 through March 16, 2013. You can find details here.

I guess now that there’s a layer of snow on the ground it’s OK to start talking holidays, right? Whitworth will have its Christmas Festival Concert, “Laud to the Nativity” on Dec. 1 and 2 at The Fox. Then they’ll head to Seattle for a performance there.

Finally, even though it’s a few days early, I’d like to say thank you to our veterans, and remind you of the upcoming Veteran’s Day Ceremony. It will be Sunday at 10 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Arena.
