What are you doing Monday evening? Coming to the Spokane Faith & Values mixer, of course. It’ll be from 5 to 7 p.m. at NoLi Brewery, 1003 E. Trent Ave. Come meet our writers, chat with us about theology, community and whatever else is on your mind!
And if you’re looking for something to do next week, check out the free workshop on Celtic Saints at St. John’s Cathedral. It will be Oct. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants will learn what the Celtic saints of the ancient Christian church can offer the church’s ministry today. RSVP by calling 458-4347 or e-mailing [email protected].
Christian author Ted Dekker will be in Spokane next month. He’ll be at Eastpoint Church on Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. and the community is invited.
Looking for a place to go Trunk-R-Treating for Halloween? On Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. Spokane First will host a Trunk-R-Treat event for the community. It will include free food, costumes, contests, games, prizes, and lots of candy. Is your place of worship doing something similar? We want to know!
The Spokane Bahá’ís host Spiritual Conversations the first Wednesday of the month at Chairs Coffee. November’s topic is “Teenagers ‑Heroes in the making.” The discussion begins at 5 p.m. on Nov. 6. All are invited.
