In keeping with its mission to increase interfaith dialogue in the area, SpokaneFaithandValues.com will celebrate its first anniversary with Faith Feast: An Intercultural Progressive Dinner.
The meal will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 21.
Guests will start with halal appetizers at The Spokane Islamic Center, then proceed to the Sikh Gudwara of Spokane for a vegetarian entrée, and conclude at Millwood Community Presbyterian Church for a healthy, eco-friendly dessert.
“We invite community members to break bread together by stepping into places of worship they may have always been curious about, and experience the remarkable cultural traditions that take place inside these sacred walls,” said Tracy Simmons, editor of Spokane Faith & Values.
Tickets are $50 for individuals or $80 for a pair. Seating is limited.
All proceeds from the dinner will benefit Spokane Faith & Values, the area’s nonprofit, nonsectarian online religion news publication.
