Jesus, come, heal her.
Crowds pushed in, still he walked and
one reached out, touching.

Suffering too long
Giving all and yet still ill,
she dared reach, touching.

She heard about him,
Touched the hem of his clothing,
Holding hope in faith.

He felt her come near
And aware he asked “Who dared?”
She fell before him.

With love in his eyes
Jesus said, your faith is all
You need. Go in peace.

Were we all so bold
As to follow him at all
We too could be whole.

And this takes humility…to acknowledge our desperate need! Great poem!
