The Spokane Buddhist Temple will have its annual Obon Festival July 25-26, which is traditional event commemorating one’s ancestors.
The festival will be July 25 fro 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and July 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bon Odori will be at 6 p.m. both nights. Bon Odori is a customary dance done in a circle, usually involving fans.
The event will include:
- Hawaiian food
- Japanese exhibits
- Kids crafts and games
