Denise Yost

Denise Yost lives connected and inspired — motivational forces that contribute to her ongoing exploration, curiosity, and to integration and expansion across all her interests and pursuits. Yost is an accomplished scientist, professor, facilitator and coach and has cultivated her mindfulness practice for over a decade. She has pursued fascinating scientific questions around the world, pairing her own creative and dynamic lens with her PhD training in physiology, genetics and marine biology. Her drive to live her best life and her adept skills as a coach and facilitator led to her current daily work as a professor of life skills, communication, and leadership at Washington State University where she is changing the conversation and creating engaging contexts for hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members, and dynamic humans beyond academia. She consistently brings her own creative energies to the development of new programs and methods focusing on self-acceptance and cultivating flexibility to create resiliency and motivation.
