Gamesh Himal Trading Company has organized two events to raise money to help earthquakes victims in Nepal.
The first event is a concert Friday night at 6 p.m. at nYne Bar and Bistro. The show will feature The Angela Marie Project & Shambhava. There will also be a belly dancing performance and a yoga demo by Perry Street Yoga.
There will be a $5-10 suggested donation at the door, and 100 percent of proceeds will go to earthquake relief, according to Gamesh Himal Trading.
A second fundraiser will be at Riverside Place at 10 a.m., May 31. “Zumba for Life,” a Zumba session led by local instructor Alex Maldonado. This event is hosted by the Conscious Connections Foundation and will directly benefit the Baseri Rural Health Clinic and community in Nepal, according to an announcement. Tickets are $12 at the door.
