Veradale UCC celebrates love in light of vandalism, theft

Even though it’s only been a week since Veradale United Church of Church experienced vandalism and theft, the halls of the church were filled with joy and love Sunday, where members of the church and community held a “Love is Greater than Hate” flash mob potluck.

On March 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. it will host its annual Kosher Dinner, which is known for satisfying thousands of appetites from across the region.

BRIEF: Temple Beth Shalom to have Hanukkah service Dec. 14

Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, will begin at sunset on Dec. 8 and will end at nightfall Dec. 17.

Temple Beth Shalom will celebrate with a special "Ancient Wisdom Modern Words" service on Dec. 14 at 5:45 p.m.
