In response to the city council’s decision to table the issue of same-sex marriage in Spokane, a group of activists have organized a flash mob kiss-in at Riverpark Square this weekend.
Today outside of City Hall, the Rev. Jim CastroLang will read a proclamation from local clergy supporting gay marriage.
"Today, I stand with 18 area religious leaders along with citizens and elected officials from the many neighborhoods of our city, who say to the Spokane City Council: vote yes for the Marriage Equality Resolution”, CastroLang said in a press release.
