Lerone Martin, director of Stanford's MLK Research Institute, will explore Martin Luther King Jr.'s relevance to modern justice movements in a free public talk at Whitworth University on Feb. 26.

Jerry Sittser, professor of theology at Whitworth University, recently joined the Whitworth Office of Church Engagement (OCE) as part-time senior fellow.

Whitworth University has been awarded $400,000 from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust to build an internship program within the university’s new Office of Church Engagement.
