On Oct. 26 The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team will host a one-day seminar in Spokane, Sharing Hope in Crisis, aimed at helping Christians learn know how to engage in conversation during times of tragedy, and share the hope of Jesus with others who suffer from the everyday "personal storms," according to a news release.
Moody Bible Institute-Spokane will be offering Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) courses this fall.
Though formal entrance into the newly approved program won't begin until the 2014-2015 academic year, qualified students may enter the school as early as this fall and take courses leading toward the fully accredited four-year Bachelor of Arts degree, formally changing majors next year.
Today about 25 local preachers joined Moody Bible Institute-Spokane faculty in a presentation with well-known pastor and author Don Sunukjian to learn ways to improve their ministry.
Sunukijan, professor of Christian ministry and leadership, homiletics at Talbot School of Theology delivered a free lecture, “Lessons Learned from My Mistakes in Preaching,” in what the Institute hopes will be a regular educational series for local pastors.
