I still feel the ‘fairness’ of our criminal and civil legal system so far exceeds that of recent presidential impeachment trials, that something must be done if Americans are to have justice fully practiced in future impeachments.
Rereading Twain helped me realize that there is a way to reclaim not only my faith but my patriotism in these unstable times. We need healing. Healing for me is spiritual. So here I am. A Christian. Who wants you to go to hell.
If we review these facts without considering our own party affiliation, and be brutally honest with our findings, could a large majority of American citizens feel confident that justice is being served? I fear not and that brings me to the new, proposed Constitutional amendment.
