In the proposed liturgy, each person would make a vow, exchange rings and be declared "bound to one another in a holy covenant, as long as they both shall live."
At The General Convention of The Episcopal Church, which is gathering in Indianpolis this week, the National and International Concerns Committee proposed two resolutions regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The first, a substitute of Resolution B019 affirms positive investment “as a necessary means to create a sound economy and a sustainable infrastructure” in the Palestinian Territories, according to a news release.
