About 300 Gonzaga University students, Jesuits, faculty, staff, alumni, family and friends are expected to take part in the university’s 44th annual pilgrimage to the historic Mission of the Sacred Heart – or Cataldo Mission – in Cataldo, Idaho on Sept. 14, according to a press release. The pilgrimage is open to all members of the Gonzaga community.
On April 20, Catherine Brown Tkacz will present a lecture about the prayers that Gonzaga University founder the Rev. Joseph Cataldo, S.J., composed and translated into the Nez Perce language. The lecture, titled “Nunim Pist: Prayers in Nez Perce,” will be from 10 a.m.-noon at Bishop White Seminary (429 E. Sharp Ave.).
