After a career in marketing and public relations in New York City and Santa Barbara, Calif., Judith Shadford moved to the Northwest to focus on  writing.

She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop of Pacific Lutheran University of Tacoma in 2009.  She’s had essays and short stories published in literary and mystery journals.

The rest of the time, she edits the e-newsletter, “News from St. John’s” and sings in the Cathedral Choir.

Shadford has two grown children and four grandchildren.
