On Jan. 25 The Faith Action Network and The Fig Tree will host its annual Eastern Washington Legislative Conference.

The 2014 conference, titled, “Dismantling the Culture of Violence” will include presentations on wage theft, hunger/poverty/homelessness, criminal justice and police accountability, gun violence and the death penalty, environmental priorities, the state budget and immigration reform and global perspectives.

It will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Cost is a $20 suggested donation and scholarships are available.
