Valentine’s Day, a day of love, stress, anticipation, loneliness? It can be all of the above and for good reason. This is probably one of the most “made up” holidays there is and can be the catalyst for stress and guilt based on the expectations we carry in our mind.
Freedom is knowing it is all made up and we each have the choice of whether or not we are going to participate. Let go of stress and talk to your significant other about whether or how to celebrate. We do not have to let society dictate how much were are present for this day, we make that choice.
