I think it’s perfectly acceptable for a non-Christian to celebrate Christmas. I celebrate Christmas as an atheist. A lot of Muslims I met while I was studying Arabic at Gonzaga celebrate Christmas. The meaning of a holiday isn’t owned by anyone. I personally see Christmas as a time to be with family (because we live apart and don’t always get to see each other) and just enjoy all the love, but someone else can and should feel free to celebrate it as they see fit.
