What are your services like?

Our services are uplifting, but then I am partial to the service we have created.

At 9:30 a.m., all are invited to attend a 15 minute meditation/contemplation utilizing styles from a variety of faith paths.

Our Sunday Celebration begins at 10 a.m.. You might recognize the order of service (but not the content) as being common to most Christian services. We open with song, a prayer, and a weekly interactive candle ceremony followed by a “talk or message” which may contain quotes from any number of texts and/or individuals such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Mother Theresa, or Ernest Holmes.

Rather than telling folks how they should live their lives, we invite the listener to open to greater possibilities…not only individually, but collectively for the world.

We close by having the congregation join in an affirmation, a song, and a closing thought. Following the celebration all are invited to share in snacks and fellowship.

He began his quest for ‘getting back on track’ with 12 step programs, followed by learning and practicing meditation with a local Redding, California, teacher.
