BRIEF: Car wash tomorrow to benefit Spokane Youth For Christ camps

On Saturday Spokane Youth for Christ will hold a car wash at Dutch Brothers Coffee, 1010 W. Francis Ave., to raise money to send underprivileged youth to summer camp.

YFC is looking to take 130 7th-12th graders to one of its summer camps.

“We believe that camp is always a WIN in the life of a young person. We have seen, firsthand, more impact made in one week of camp than several years of coming to club. When a YFC kid comes to camp, they experience a week away from home, regular teaching of God’s Word and focused investment from a committed YFC leader. Every year, we see numerous kids make life-altering decisions to follow Jesus,” YFC stated on its website.

Camps begin in June and continue through August.

The car wash will be from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. Those interested in donating can also do so by purchasing coffee.
