OutSpokane has organized a candlelight vigil to honor those killed and wounded in last night’s shooting in Orlando.
Fifty people were killed and 53 were wounded when Omar Mateen opened fire at a popular gay nightclub. He had pledged his support to ISIS.
The attack, the worst in U.S. history, comes during Spokane’s 25th Pride celebrate. In an announcement OutSpokane wrote, “In support of our siblings, We shall have a brief observance of support.”
The vigil will take place at 6 p.m. at Riverfront Park.
