The Greater Spokane Association of Evangelicals is continuing its mission to address the problem of fatherless homes by bringing the 2017 Spokane Fatherlessness Conference to the city later this month.
From the beaches of Athens to the dense vegetation of the jungle, adventures await in Vacation Bible Schools across Spokane. Activities include crafts, music, games, religious lessons, and, at one church with an animal cracker theme, a blessing of people’s pets.
Ekklesia Church of God, which meets in donated space at Baskets for Babies, is a bible-based congregation that’s “tolerant with reservations,” explained Pastor AJ Donier.
The independent, freewill church began in 2008 by Donier and his wife Jennine who were seeking a church that was true to the teachings of Jesus.
