On Jan. 20 Anthony Carollo, executive director of The Greater Spokane Association of Evangelicals hosted an all day event at Union Gospel Mission called “City Advance" facilitated by Tom White of Frontline Ministries.

This isn’t your typical Catholic church.

There’s no incense. No gothic-style building. The congregation doesn’t believe the pope is infallible. And, the priest, the Rev. Tom Altepeter, is married.
