The 7th International Conference on Hate Studies will take place in Spokane April 20-22. “The Challenges of Hate in the 21st Century” is this year’s conference theme. The deadline to register is April 10.

The Gonzaga Center for the Study of Hate is inviting people to share their work to counter hate and promote hope by submitting a proposal to present at the 7th International Conference on Hate Studies. The theme for proposals is “Challenges of hate in the 21st century.” The conference will be held from April 20 - 22, 2023.

Next month, Gonzaga University will host its 5th International Conference on Hate Studies. The conference intends to bring several researchers and thought leaders to help find ways for the community to combat hate and promote human rights and justice in their neighborhoods.

Rabbi Francine Roston from the Glacier Jewish Community/ B’nai Shalom Montana will present her lecture “Responding to Hate and Cyber-Terrorism: Lessons from Whitefish Montana” on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 7-8:30 p.m. in Gonzaga University’s Hemmingson Ballroom.

I do think some kinds of anger, especially those that are more personal and less political, may be difficult to express for some Jews.

Oct. 19-21, 2017, Gonzaga University will host the Fourth International Conference on Hate Studies. The interdisciplinary academic forum tackles the topic of hate and related social issues, and the ways to combat it.
