My dear wife Carla is getting a divorce. Not from me. She is divorcing Gonzaga basketball. We go through this ritual every March when the Zags fall short of the long-sought national basketball championship as they did again Saturday night. “I’m done,” she will say. “Burn the T-shirts.”

The Gonzaga Center for the Study of Hate is inviting people to share their work to counter hate and promote hope by submitting a proposal to present at the 7th International Conference on Hate Studies. The theme for proposals is “Challenges of hate in the 21st century.” The conference will be held from April 20 - 22, 2023.

"Different Drummers," the film based on a true story of the spiritual journey and unlikely friendship between two fourth-grade boys growing up in Spokane during the 1960s, will air at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday in the John J. Hemmingson Center Auditorium at Gonzaga University.
