Following the Westboro Baptist Church protest near campus, members of the Institute discussed the importance of solidarity and acceptance of marginalized communities as they push for another 20 years.

Oct. 19-21, 2017, Gonzaga University will host the Fourth International Conference on Hate Studies. The interdisciplinary academic forum tackles the topic of hate and related social issues, and the ways to combat it.

A conference will be held at Gonzaga University in early December to provide citizens with the tools to fight bigotry and hate in the Spokane community.
