Darwin on the Palouse, a free annual even hosted by Humanists of the Palouse "to celebrate humanity, science and rational thought," will be held Feb. 6 on the Washington State University campus in Pullman.
The Palouse Coalition of Reason will celebrate the life of Charles Darwin Feb. 7-10 with "Darwin on the Palouse."
The free multi-day event will start Thursday with a lecture by Frank Brown titled, "Evolution of Africa's Omo-Turkana Basin." This will be at 7 p.m. at the Washington State University senior ballroom.
The famed science fiction/thriller author Frank Peretti spoke at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls this weekend. Peretti is the author of many popular bestsellers, including “This Present Darkness,” “Monster,” and his latest “Illusion.” His speaking style was warm and affable, more like a comedian than a preacher, leaving the packed house laughing in the aisles.
