The Franciscan Place at St. Joseph Family Center will offer a 5-day guided retreat in July that will focus on discovering “the many ways God desires to come into our lives when we open ourselves to seeing ordinary things in a contemplative stance,” according to an announcement.

The retreat, “Finding God in the Ordinary: Walking a Contemplative Path,” will will provide guests  an opportunity to ponder God’s presence through daily presentations, optional centering prayer and shared prayer in a setting near the Spokane River.

Cost is $85 per day and will take place July 19-24.
