By Christi Ortiz

When the past comes back to haunt you
And the future lurks to taunt you

Remember the gift of the Now
with its timelessness preciousness

The sweet surrender to what is
to what was and what will be

Knowing that despite past regrets and future fears
there is a peace and trust in letting go

No need to dwell on the past
or control the outcome of the future

There is freedom and release in the present
and the gift it’s presence brings
