Pulitzer Prize journalist, Chris Hedges, will be speaking in Spokane next month.

Hedges is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and a foreign correspondent for nearly two decades in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and the Balkans. He writes and speaks on war, religion, American culture, empire, and the conflict in the Middle East.

His presentation, “Wages of Rebellion: What does it take to be a rebel today?” will be at 7 p.m., March 10, at the Bing, 901 W Sprague.

Tickets are $18 in advanc or $20 at the door, or $10 for students. They can be purchased online at www.pjals.org/hedges, or at Auntie’s, Merlyn’s, TicketsWest, and the PJALS office, which can be reached at (509) 838-7870.

Tickets to a special reception and dinner, which will before the lecture from 4 – 6 p.m can be purchased for $65 (includes ticket to evening appearance). Tickets for the dinner must be purchased by March 8.
