Immaculate Heart Retreat Center will kick of its Coffee and Contemplation series Sept. 19 with secular Franciscan Cliff Evans, who will be discussing, “St. Francis of Assisi and Poverty of Spirit – Nurturing your servant’s heart.”
Coffee and Contemplation is a spiritual discussion series for people of all faith, which takes place the third Wednesday of the month at the retreat center from 9 to 11 a.m. Cost is $10 per session.
On Oct. 17 Kathy Finley will discuss “Seeing the Holy in the Ordinary: Taking the Incarnation Seriously.” Finley is a an adjunct instructor in the religious studies department of Gonzaga University and a freelance speaker and writer.
On Nov. 21 Deacon John Ruscheinsky, director of Immaculate Heart, will discuss “Covenant Relationships.”
