Rev. Kodo Hiromichi Umezu

The Rev. Kodo Hiromichi Umezu, bishop of the Buddhist Churches of America, will give a Dharma talk at 10:30 a.m., Jan. 11 at The Spokane Buddhist Temple, 927 S. Perry.

The talk will be followed with a question and answer session.

Umezu is the former director of the Center for Buddhist Education in Berkeley, Calif., where he created and oversaw all of the Buddhist education programs at the Jodo Shinshu Center.
According to a press release, “Knowledge, warmth and enthusiasm is what really defines Rev. Umezu. You will be inspired by his talk and we will give him the unique opportunity to meet the Spokane Sangha.”
