What is the American Jew’s opinion of women in combat?

There is no one opinion for Jews, much less American Jews. We all have different observance levels, different beliefs, and different opinions.

That being said, this Jew supports women in combat.
Serving in the IDF is mandatory in Israel for men and women. Women have been involved in the Israeli military from the very beginning.

As a former military wife, an American, and a Jew, I fully support women in combat if that’s where the female soldier wants to be.

BTW, on the subject of women in combat, the Israeli movie “Zero Motivation” is hilarious, a smart military satire. The Spokane Jewish Cultural Film Festival screened it in 2015.
