Turning Point USA will make the University of Idaho one of its stops on a new national campus tour this spring, bringing conservative commentators Matt Walsh and Michael Knowles to Moscow on April 28.

The “This is the Turning Point Tour” was announced recently by TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk as a tribute to the organization’s founder, Charlie Kirk, who died last year after being shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. The tour aims to counter what the organization describes as “leftist indoctrination” on college campuses.

“Stand up for the truth, defend life, love your family fearlessly… and don’t think that it’s someone else’s role to do it,” Erika Kirk said in a statement. “You do it. Do it for Charlie.”

Walsh is an author and host at The Daily Wire. Knowles hosts The Michael Knowles Show.

UI has a TPUSA chapter. The tour’s other confirmed stops include George Washington University on April 2, the University of Georgia on April 14, Ohio State University on April 21, and Baylor University on April 22, according to Local News 8

Kirk visited Pullman and Moscow in 2025 as part of his “American Comeback” tour.
