My wife and I have remodeled most of our home and incorporated small alters in each room. At the entrance you are welcomed with Eastern Tradition icons and then if you look around the rooms you will find a built in shelf somewhere that speaks to spirituality. I keep Spirit in all my thoughts, as best possible, so too do I try to bring it alive in my home.
The spiritual symbols and statues throughout our home are not to honor one particular faith path or God but rather to remind myself, my wife and anyone present that Spirit is present in many different forms throughout our home and therefore throughout the world.
