Tom’s Turkey Drive needs assistance to provide over 11,000 meals for those who would otherwise go without this Thanksgiving.

Run by Second Harvest, this charity drive will distribute meals to those in need at the Spokane Veteran’s Memorial Arena on Nov. 24, from 10 a.m to 5 p.m, unless all meals are distributed before 5 p.m. There are two ways to help the drive. Firstly, visit Spokane and Colfax area Rosauers stores on the 20th and 21st and purchase pre-packed Tom’s Turkey Drive bags for $20. Secondly, volunteers can also donate online to Second Harvest at 2-harvest.org. As with Rosauers, $20 dollars secures a wonderful meal for distribution.

For more information on this Thanksgiving’s food drive or Second Harvest in general, visit 2-harvest.org.
