What Does The Bible Say About CBD?

In every sensitive issue or products that lie within the so-called “gray area,” there will always be the question: “Is it okay for Christians to use or practice that?” To be ultimately on point; there is nothing written in the sacred bible that tackles CBD or any of its possible effects and predicaments. This is because its writers would not have encountered them. CBD came to existence in 1963, and we are pretty sure that the writers of the script in the bible have already passed away at that point. However, there is indeed something that can be found there that slightly tackles such – specifically, when we encounter gray areas.

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18). We could interpret this as God telling us not to avoid any given substance that can necessarily affect our way of thinking or state of mind. If it could impair our sense of judgment and remove our good conscience, we must only practice or consume it moderately. Christians hate nothing more than making spiritually poor decisions. Now we go back to CBD oil. Since it is not yet regulated, some particular vendors might slip in some elements on their products which can directly mess up our judgment calls.

In conclusion, Christians can feel free to use CBD oil as much as they are carefree of in taking alcohol. There is nothing written in the bible that contradicts this. Unless you are abusing such products, there is nothing wrong for Christians to use them. And that is why it is okay, for Christians to use CBD oil.
