So after much discussion and planning, the ministry has been re-branded as The West Central Abbey.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and West Central Episcopal Mission will celebrate the arrival of their new vicar this Sunday (May 20) in a ceremony led by Bishop Gretchen Rehberg, of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane.

Episcopal priest and author Paul Gordon-Chandler will give a presentation on the spiritual journey of influential poet Kahlil Gibran this Saturday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.

For many children, the word ‘summer’ evokes images of vacationing, swimming, camping, hanging out with friends and an appreciated absence of school and homework. However, for others, summer can mean extreme heat, a scarcity of food and no escape from home-life.

West Central Episcopal Mission will host the Northwest Bach Festival at its historic Trinity Chapel on March 1, from 6 to 7 p.m.

A day-long music festival will take place Saturday at the historic Trinity Chapel at the West Central Episcopal Mission, 1832 W. Dean.

A year ago we surveyed low-income guests gathered at the free weekly dinner we offer at West Central Episcopal Mission. The question was “What resources do you find hard to get in West Central?”
