Something has bothered me for a long time about the way this country governs itself — or to be more precise, the way government governs the rest of us.
I am not going to touch this Viewpoints question with a 10-foot pole, except to quote from the Pilot of Firefly, one of my favorite TV shows of all time:
I watched the Inauguration and then later looked at Facebook and was not at all surprised at some of the comments I saw.
There may be room for anger, if you wish to participate in that behavior, but rather than directing it toward a person elected how about toward the real place it should be aimed?
The planned economy is imperative in socialism. It is by the method of planning the economy that the socialist attempts to actualize his ideals. One way he can achieve his goals is to dissolve private enterprise and organize a planned economy centralized in the state.
