At this month's meeting the Friends of Compassion will ask if assisted suicide is an act of compassion.

In 2011, The Gallup Poll reported that most Americans (48 percent) believed doctor-assisted suicide to be morally wrong. But those who thought it was acceptable were closing in at 45 percent.

Tonight at 7 p.m. members of the Friends of Compassion will gather at The Center for Spiritual Living to discuss having compassion for people with special needs.
