Most people are given a spiritual path or religion as children, based on their families and/or culture. As people mature, they quite often question the beliefs they were raised with and find new answers within their teaching or begin looking for something that speaks to their own personal beliefs more closely.
You have probably heard someone say, “You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince,” usually regarding dating and finding a mate. In my experience, this also applies to my attempts to find a church. Please look at the breakup letters to a few frogs and one almost-prince.
