Dwayne Mack, Ph.D., will present a lecture titled "Black Women in Spokane: Emerging from the Shadows of Jim and Jane Crow," for African American History Month at Whitworth University.
On Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., Gonzaga University’s School of Law will discuss “Black Spokane: The Civil Rights Struggle in the Inland Northwest” in the Barbieri Courtroom. The discussion will be led by Dwayne A. Mack, the Carter G. Woodson Chair in African American History at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky.
