Bestselling author Sarah Woodbury Haug is the next writer we are featuring for our Local News Day fundraising campaign. Haug is donating her e-book “Daughter of Time” to the fundraiser to give away to donors who become new members or make one-time gifts of at least $50.

One of the more than 50 novels she’s written set in medieval Wales, “Daughter” launches the “After Cilmeri” series and blends time travel with medieval intrigue and romance.

Trained as an anthropologist, she spent 20 years homeschooling her four children before turning to writing when her passion for storytelling became irresistible.

Of Welsh ancestry, she first visited Wales during university and developed a lifelong love for its culture, language and history.

Haug also writes a column for FāVS, sharing perspectives rooted in her Baháʼí Faith. She lives between Pendleton, Oregon, and Caernarfon, Wales, with her husband.

To claim this book, become a new FāVS member at $5 or more per month, or make a one-time gift of at least $50 by April 9 — Local News Day. Then visit our book giveaway page to make your selection.
