This week’s events feature a mix of faith-based gatherings, youth activities, community outreach and fundraising across the Northwest, including outdoor worship nights, a revival, an interfaith service, a Catholic teaching Mass, and a Beer & Hymns fundraiser across the Pacific and Inland Northwest. Here’s what’s happening July 6-12.

Summers at the Park x Encounter Night
July 8 | Seattle | Christian

A Seattle Church combines two summer traditions for an evening at Green Lake Park, 7312 W. Green Lake Drive N. The night opens with activities, food and fellowship from 5:30 to 7 p.m., followed by worship and praise from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Middle School & High School Movie Night on the Lawn
July 8 | Kent, Wash. | Christian

Faith Church hosts an outdoor s’mores and movie night for middle and high schoolers from 7:30 to 10 p.m. on the church lawn, 25636 140th Ave. SE. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.

New Generation Initiative: “Young Washington” Movie Event
July 9 | Spokane | No religious affiliation

The Empowering Washington Freedom Alliance hosts a free screening of “Young Washington” at AMC River Park Square 20 at 7 p.m. as part of its New Generation Initiative, aimed at connecting young Americans ages 14-24 with civics and an understanding of how their country works. Free tickets and T-shirts are available for 28 registrants who share why the event matters to them. Register here.

Revival in the Desert
July 10 | Yakima, Wash. | Christian

Breakthrough Church hosts a multi-church tent revival at State Fair Park, home of the Yakima Valley SunDome, bringing together families from across the rural agricultural communities of the Yakima Valley for live worship, messages and a Spirit-filled atmosphere. Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser
July 11 | Boise, Idaho | Christian

Capital Church hosts a pickleball tournament fundraiser at Hobble Creek Park from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to send Next Gen students to summer camp. Registration is $50 per team of two; the double-elimination format guarantees every team at least two matches. Prizes will be awarded to tournament winners. Universal Worship Service

Interfaith Community Sanctuary hosts its weekly Universal Worship Service from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 1763 N.W. 62nd St., designed for seekers of all faith traditions. This week’s focus is on spiritual discernment through Engaged Buddhism and collective awakening in beloved community, featuring scriptural readings from multiple world religions. Teaching Mass Series: Catechesis Through the Sunday Sacred Liturgy
July 12 | Spokane | Catholic

The Rev. David Kruse leads a summer Teaching Mass Series at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, beginning at 2 p.m. with Adoration and Confessions, followed by Holy Mass and a catechetical homily at 3 p.m. The July 12 session focuses on divine revelation, biblical inspiration and the truth of Sacred Scripture. Beer & Hymns Fundraiser
July 13 | Spokane | Christian

Grace Commons, an emerging young adult faith community that affirms the LGBTQIA+ community and pursues social justice, hosts its first Beer & Hymns Fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. at Perry Street Brewing. Tickets are $15, and registration closes July 12. Register here.
