On March 13 numerous churches throughout Spokane made the decision to suspend worship services and other church gatherings after city officials requested that gathers of more than 250 people be restricted.

Below is a list of houses of worship throughout the region that have made the decision to cancel their on-site services.

This list will continue to be updated. Last updated March 20, 8:15 a.m.

Assemblies of God

First Assembly Church: weekend service will consist of one online service streaming on Facebook.

Valley Assembly Church: No activities, events or services on campus.

Baptist

Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Post Falls: Services canceled.

Deer Park Baptist: all services canceled.

Dishman Baptist: services will be live streamed.

Driscoll Baptist: All church services and activities are suspended indefinitely. 

Emmanuel Baptist Church Pullman: All programming canceled.

Faith Baptist Church: Services livestreamed only.

Genesis Church: Churches moving online.

Living Grace Fellowship: Offering services online.

New Horizons Church: Worship services and on-site programs canceled.

Spokane Baptist Church on the Hill: services will be live streamed.

Trinity Baptist Church: Services suspended.

Bible Churches

Valley Bible: video and audio recordings will be available.

Buddhist

Spokane Buddhist Temple: The Sangha is asked to refer to the Seattle Betsuin YouTube channel for live stream services.

Tsinta Mani Choling Center: closed until April 26.

Catholic

Catholic Diocese of Spokane: Free of obligation to attend Mass through March 28, 29.

St. Clare’s Ecumenical Catholic Church: Canceling Sunday liturgies for March 15 and 22.

Church of Christ

Church of Christ At Coeur d’Alene: Bible study suspended indefinitely.

Sunrise Church of Christ: Church services canceled.

Christian Missionary Alliance

Garland Church: cancelling all large-group gatherings, including weekly worship beginning Sunday, March 15.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Services canceled globally.

Church of the Nazarene

Spokane First Church of the Nazarene: Suspending all public gatherings through and worship services through March 20.

Community of Christ

Spokane Valley Community of Christ: First Presidency advises congregations and mission centers to suspend church gatherings.

Disciples of Christ

County Homes Christian: all church events are cancelled beginning March 8.

Episcopal

All 38 congregations in the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane have been asked to suspend services through March.

Evangelical

Bayview Bible Church: Sunday services canceled through Easter.

Berean Bible: Cancelled all services and events.

Branches: Suspending all formal gatherings until further notice.

Calvary Spokane: Canceled all services and events.

Crossover Church: Services suspended until further notice.

Eastpoint: Services suspended.

Faith Bible Church: All in-person activities and services canceled.

Fellowship Bible Church, Post Falls: All services and events temporarily suspended.

Foothills Community: canceling all in-person activities and moving worship service online for the next two weeks starting March 14.

Grace Christian Fellowship: Services scheduled to resume April 26.

Immanuel Church: Services suspended, live-streaming on Facebook.

Living Hope Spokane: Services suspended.

New Creation Fellowship: All church services and events canceled.

New Life Community Church, Rathdrum: Only gathering online.

North Country Chapel, Post Falls: Services online or radio.

North Summit Church, Sandpoint: All services paused.

Real Life Ministries, Post Falls: Suspending programs and activities at our physical campuses

Real Life Network: Not gathering on physical campus.

Redeemer Bible Church: Canceling Sunday services and weekly activities.

Redemption Spokane: Services canceled.

Restored Community Church, Eagle, Idaho: Online only

Riverstone Chapel: Sunday services online only.

South Hill Bible Church: Activities suspended.

Southside Christian Church: Canceling services for 30 days.

Sozo Church: Sunday services moved online.

Summit Church: Services suspended, videos available via YouTube or website.

Summit Northwest Ministries, Post Falls: Services canceled through March.

True Hope Church: Canceling services until further notice.

Turning Point Open Bible Church: No on-site services.

Evangelical Free

Evangelical Free Church of the Palouse: Services canceled.

Life Center: Closed through April 12

North Church: Services online.

Hindu

Spokane Hindu Temple & Cultural Center: Activity suspended through March.

Interdenominational

Palouse Federated Church: Services and group activities canceled.

Islam

Spokane Islamic Center: Closed.

Jewish

Congregation Emanu-El: Services suspended through March.

Temple Beth Shalom: Services suspended through March.

Lutheran

Central Lutheran: Services suspended through March.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Moscow: Services canceled.

Lutheran Church of the Master, CDA: All Worship Services & Church Activities will be canceled until March 29

Peace Lutheran: Services suspended through March

Redeemer Lutheran: Services suspended through March.

Salem Lutheran: Services suspended through March.

Methodist

The Pacific Northwest Conference of The United Methodist Church directed “local churches of any size and other ministries in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington to suspend in-person worship and other gatherings of more than 10 people for the next two weeks.”

Nazarene

Portico Christian Fellowship: Services are cancelled for March 15.

Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene: Regular activities suspended.

Presbyterian

Bethany Presbyterian: In-person worship services and meetings canceled, at least through March 29.

First Presbyterian Church Downtown, CDA: Sunday services online only.

First Presbyterian Church of Spokane: Services suspended, live-streaming available on Facebook.

Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church: On-site worship canceled

Manito Presbyterian Church: Services suspended

Opportunity Presbyterian: Services suspended through March.

Seventh-day Adventist

Couer d’Alene Seventh-day Adventist: Closed on-site church services.

Troy Seventh-day Adventist: Abbreviated services via Facebook Live only.

United Church of Christ

Westminster UCC: Services suspended through March.

United Church of God

United Church of God Spokane: Suspending Sabbath services in the United States and abroad for at least the next two weekends.

Unitarian Universalist

Unitarian churches country wide have suspended services.

Unity

Unity Spiritual Center: Closed through April 25. Livestreaming Sundays, 10 a.m.
