On Oct. 26 The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team will host a one-day seminar in Spokane, Sharing Hope in Crisis, aimed at helping Christians learn know how to engage in conversation during times of tragedy, and share the hope of Jesus with others who suffer from the everyday “personal storms,” according to a news release.
Seminar topics include:
- Biblical view of suffering
- Effects of trauma and process of grief
- How to provide emotional and spiritual care
- What to say, and not say, when people grieve
The event will be at Moody Bible Institute – Spokane, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 26. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $35 through Oct. 21, or $45 after Oct. 21. For information call 570-5900.
We have tried to register and can’t find the link/process. BOTH of us plan to attend on Saturday. We live 4 hours from Spokane so we will come in Friday evening. We have called Moody Bible in Spokane and they could offer no help in registering except to tell us to locate form on the internet but they were unsure as to the link. We have finally located this link but can’t find where to register. We don’t want to pay the higher rate by not calling again on Monday.
What help can you give us? Thanks – Randy
